Successful AMTA 2019
Three research assistants (Cosme Culotta-López, Thomas Gemmer and Anna Polaczek) of the IHF's measurement team participated in this year's Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) in San Diego, California. With a total of six publications on various aspects of measurement techniques, the institute showed again its broad technical expertise at an international level.
Anna Polaczek received a scholarship for first-year doctoral students. Besides, two awards were bestowed on Cosme Culotta-López: his publication „A Compressed Sampling for Spherical Near-Field Measurements“, in cooperation with Arya Bangun and Arash Behboodi of the Institute for Theoretical Information Technology, was awarded the Best Technical Paper Award and his work „Fast Spherical Near-Field Measurements on Arbitrary Surfaces by Application of Pointwise Probe Correction to Compressed Sampling Schemes“ placed 1st in the Best Student Paper Award competition.
