Since September 2017, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Knott holds the Chair of Radar Systems Engineering at the Institute of High Frequency Technology of the RWTH Aachen University.

Since August 2016, he is the excecutive director of the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR in Wachtberg near Bonn. He was previously head of the Antenna Technology and Electromagnetic Modeling (AEM) department there.

Research Focus

Projects at the Chair of Radar Systems Engineering are concerned with architectures, components and signal processing methods for radar systems in various applications.
