Space Flight Hardware ready for integration

Another step towards space for the IHF is done. The satellite payload GeReLEO-SMART to be launched on H2SAT is ready for the final integration into its housing.

Following a successful technical review and test, the next work package is an extensive test campaign. It should demonstrate that the equipment is able to withstand vibration, vacuum and thermal changes that will occur during launch and orbit phase of the satellite. Extensive electromagnetic compatibility tests are also part of the test program. If all tests are evaluated as passed, the payload will be delivered in the first half of 2020 for the final integration on the satellite.
