PhD exam successfully completed!

Thomas Gemmer received his PhD in the field of antenna measurements and successfully passed his doctoral examination on 08.04.2022. In his dissertation "Generalised Test-Zone Field Compensation", he focused on the characterisation of the quiet zone of the IHF's compact range measurement chamber and derived a method to compensate for disturbances during a measurement, which, among other things, enables measurement chambers to be operated below the specified cut-off frequency.

At the end of his time as a doctoral student at the institute, the rector of the RWTH Aachen University personally congratulated him.
